Beautiful Websites
for Marketing Success

If you ask us, we’ve got an edge over the typical web design agency. Why? Because unlike a ton of designers, we’re able to integrate our SEO and digital marketing expertise into our design process.

Most web designers are NOT SEO EXPERTS. Often times, web designers who offer SEO services included with their design, simply stick some keywords in the copy and call it a day. Believe us, there’s a lot more that goes into successful SEO (and good web design) than that.

This focus on digital marketing informs our entire approach to our small business web services. From design to hosting to maintenance and upkeep, JumpStart Digital provides support to keep your website up and running smoothly and, more importantly, looking great while helping you reach your desired audience.

Web Design Red Flags

While many web designers tout their ability to create websites that rank on Google,

Title and header tags should communicate the content of your pages and include the keywords you’d like to rank for. If your titles are super generic (for example, a homepage title tag that simply reads your business’ name or worse yet “Home”), it probably wasn’t designed for SEO.

Search engines still largely rely on the text of a page in order to determine what keywords to rank it for. So even if your landing pages boast a slick design but fewer than–say–a hundred words, it probably wasn’t designed for SEO.

Another way that both search engines and users make sense of your site is via URLs and how pages are organized in relation to each other. Similar to title tags, your URLs should give an idea of what the page is about.

Websites that have large image files or cool effects often take longer to load. This can lead to a bad user experience. If your page takes too long to load, many users will simply click away before they ever interact with your site.
